American Saw Mill Machinery Company 18" Uni-point Radial Arm Saw, 5HP 3 phase 440 volts, accepts from blades 12"-18". Serial #41892. Ths saw has roughly a 30" of maximum crosscut capacity, and its 1" arbor will accept a large stack dado blades. Both of the movements for the blade / carriages bevel and miter are solidly built rack and pinion, and move very smoothly. There is no side to side movement in the upper rail when the saw travels, and it pulls very smoothly. The upper rail is 4" x 4" compared to the much smaller Northfield Unipoint rail. The saw is equipped with full ball bearings, and roller bearings on the rail.
