The SEA SMF full facepiece respirator consists of a full facepiece used in conjunction with filtration media for protection against airborne gases, vapors, or particulates. The facepiece is available in two sizes. Proper fitting and training is required prior to use of the respirator. This respirator, when properly used, seals against the skin of the user’s face and removes harmful contaminants from the inhaled air by chemical reaction or mechanical filtration. Exhaled air leaves the facepiece through the exhalation valve. The Inhalation Valve acts as a check valve to prevent the flow of exhaled air through the filtration media. Various filter media are available containing sorbents for the removal of gases or vapors. Some also feature a built-in P100 particulate filter for the removal of solid and liquid aerosols at a minimum efficiency of 99.97%. The purchaser of this respirator is responsible for determining the atmospheric contaminant present and for selecting the appropriate IMPROPER USE OF THIS RESPIRATOR MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
