The standard Strike is supplied in fail-secure mode, but is field convertible to fail-safe. Standard 7100 Strike has lip of proper length for 1-3/4 inch (44 millimeter) thick door that closes flush with jamb edge. Strikes are supplied with a finished flat faceplate.
