These are Neodymium magnets which are VERY powerful! They measure 1/4" wide by 1/16" thick (see photo for actual magnet). To show the strength of these magnets, the photo shows an 18"x1" drill bit which weighs over 1 lb. being securely magnetized to a cast iron frying pan using only one magnet!
