Usually operates from the standard color-burst crystal (3.579545 MHz crystal) to produce the standard DTMF telephone frequencies, but will operate at other frequencies as well by using other crystals. Generates all of the telephone Dual-Tone Multifrequency Tones (DTMF Tones) - great for phone circuit designs of all kinds. Can also be used to generate single tones, so it can also be used as a frequency divider. Frequency programing through phone keypad or electronically. Mostek MK5089 compatible. Single supply.
