The included instruction book details how to use these tools. It contains very simple instructions on how to choose which tool to use to create the perfect shape to suit your needs. You can easily figure out how to make an ellipse even when you only know the length and height. With this set you can draw any size ellipse from ¼" to 12" with each template. Each template draws a different degree ellipse, starting with 15° for the smallest, then 30° , 35° , 45° , and 60° . You will find the degree of the ellipse marked on the template.
