SN74HCT245 - OCTAL BUS TRANSCEIVERS WITH 3-STATE OUTPUT *NEW* Operating Voltage Range of 4.5 V to 5.5 V High-Current 3-State Outputs Drive Bus Lines Directly or Up To 15 LSTTL Loads Low Power Consumption, 80-μA Max ICC Inputs Are TTL-Voltage Compatible These octal bus transceivers are designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. The control-function implementation minimizes external timing requirements. The ’HCT245 devices allow data transmission from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending upon the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated.
