Optrel® Satellite OSE welding Helmet top quality Made in Switzerland The most versatile Helmet on the Market * Grinding: With a push of a button the unit’s shade 4 grinding mode is activated. A blinking LED light inside of the helmet indicates that the grinding mode is on and the ADF cartridge is deactivated, all with out removing your helmet. If you forget to reactivate the ADF it does it itself in ten minutes. * Delay switch: Allows for adjustment of the dark to light switching time according to the individual requirements. * Sensitivity control: Factory set at red dot for most procedures. Adjustable to meet different welding applications including micro plasma, plasma cutting, gas welding, and low amperage mig welding to name a few. Match the sensitivity level to your specific need. * Shade range selection & Shade level control : Adjust this control knob to select the shade within settings of 5-9 or 9-13. Selections can be made according to the welding process making this one of the most versatile helmets on the market. * Curved Cover lens: The durable polycarbonate lens is equipped with an elastic seal to eliminate negative effects caused by penetrating gases, smoke or particles. These cover lenses outlast conventional style cover lenses by a factor 10. The cover lens can be changed easily thanks to two quick-disconnects. * Shade level Adjustment: In «automatic» mode this potentiometer allows for +/- 1 shade level correction to suit individual requirements. In «manual» mode the potentiometer allows adjustment of the shade level from DIN 9 to 13. * Solar Cells : Optrel®’s proven solar technology ensures a continuous power supply while also eliminating the need for on/off switches and untimely/costly battery changes. * Adjustable Sensor Bar: Eliminate the effects of ambient light. Simply slide the sensor bar up and the angle of detection will open from 60 degrees to 120, which optimizes performance during low current and over the head welding. Keep it down and reduce the chances of a near by arc darkening your lens. * Eye Protection: Several LCD’s and special filters provide permanent Shade 14 protection from dangerous UV and IR radiation, even in the unlikely event of total filter failure. * Water resistance: The Optrel® Satellite ADF is protected against humidity and moisture (according to European IP 67 standard: 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter). * Applications: Electrode welding MIG steel MIG aluminium, MIG stainless steel MAG welding TIG welding Not suitable for Laser- and oxy-gas welding.
