HP JET / NOZZLE / TIP RETAINER for all KARCHER COMMERCIAL STEAM CLEANERS or PRESSURE WASHERS This is a standard replacement high pressure nozzle retainer for all KARCHER HD / HDS steam cleaners or pressure washers. It not only protects the nozzle from being damaged but also protects surfaces being cleaned from accidental contact with the steel nozzle which could cause £100's of damage. If you have just replaced the nozzle, you may find that the new one sits proud of the old retainer thereby exposing it - and surfaces being cleaned - to damage. It is therefore prudent to change this retainer at the same time as replacing the nozzle. In other instances, the black outer protective cover comes off altogether or spins around the internal nut making tightening or removal of the retainer difficult. Don't take chances, fit a new one and be protected! This retainer will fit all KARCHER original or after-market lances with an M18 male thread at the end incorporating a recess for an o-ring. It should be inserted over the nozzle and then screwed down by hand to securely hold the nozzle in place. The picture shows the lance end thread, nozzle and retainer in sequence.
