The stand-alone versions include a dual-axis servo control and are for use on 3-axis mills. The CNC versions are for use on Haas mills with built-in 4th-axis drives. These products include a single-axis servo unit to control the 5th-axis movement. The 5-axis CNC versions are for use on Haas mills with built-in 4th- and 5th-axis drives. These are controlled directly from the Haas mill’s control, and do NOT include a servo control unit. The stand-alone version of a Haas tilting rotary product comes with a programmable 220 VAC 2-axis servo control, so it can be used on any CNC machining center as a semi-4th and semi-5th axis. Incorporating the latest high-speed microprocessor and drive technology, a single circuit board controls all major functions.
