HP 400C Service and Operating Manual in PDF on CD ->25 Megabyte ZIPPED Page Samples<-(RIGHT-click and "save target as") (No need to "email for samples," so no need to worry about getting sold to a SPAM list!) (Please read FAQ or "About Me" Page) This manual is titled "operation and instruction" manual, and covers operations, calibration and servicing, including schematic and parts list, of the Hewlett Packard Model 400C Vacuum Tube Voltmeter, serial 1960 and above. It is scanned from the original manufacturer's manual. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manual is available here. This PDF document was created in our own shop from an original in our posession, so if there should be any errors, we can correct them! This is only one of the many desirable differences between the internet-obtained material being distributed by "marketers" and "leeches" and our products, which are our own creations. The high res PDF was scanned to the following specs: Text with photos at 600 dpi grayscale Please note that you will see those same specs claimed "elsewhere" for many manuals for similar models, in PDF sizes that typically average FOUR MEGABYTES per 50 or 60 pages that include photos and drawings. Folks, just how ridiculous can "marketers" be and still keep getting away with it? Please be assured that our distributions are actually done at the stated resolutions, we're not just writing whatever we figure we can get away with that makes us look good. For your convenience, we include two resolutions of the manual. The smaller standard res PDF (25 megabytes), is intended for research and general use. It has bookmarks, both sequential and chapter-page numbering, and it is text-searchable. The second version included is the high res PDF described above, 200 MB, which has all the navigational attributes of the standard res except text searchability. We send both versions on the CD.
