The assembly can most likely be used for other photomultiplier than the ones listed above, as long as they fit into the 12 pin socket and the outside diameter of the photomultiplier is under 40 mm [1.5 in] and its over all length under 120 mm [4.75 in]. The plastic base below the socket, containing the voltage divider resistors of the dynode ring, is 58 mm by 58 mm by 22 mm high and open at the bottom. The max. voltage supplied to the voltage divider was 1,500 V with a max. current of 1.1 mA. Pin 6 of the socket was used as output to the preamp and pin 12 was the high voltage input. I will provide a wiring diagram of the dynode ring. I have also preamplifier as well as high voltage sources for sale. (this posting is the responsibility of the poster) |
