GREENERD HYDROLAIR 50 TON HYDRAULIC 4 POST PRESS, SERIAL # 73H1073 This press provides an economical way to add 50 tons of metal stamping or forming capabilities to your shop without the high cost of running a 10HP power pack cuz it's an air over hydraulic press, it develops hydraulic pressure from what's called an air intensifier much like a air operated hydraulic pump such as Enerpac, OTC, Blackhawk, etc does. Since this press operates off of shop air you can have 50 tons of press power out of a small home based shop for stamping, blanking or forming parts for Harleys, Ornamental Iron projects, aerospace, race car or any other related fields. Unit operates off of 100 psi shop air and uses a 6 inch diameter hydraulic ram for the press part of it, ram speed is going to be slower since it's air over hydraulic but the end result is still the same, 50 tons of power on the bolster plates for your pressworking or forming needs. Overall dimensions for this machine are 42 inches wide x 30 inches deep by 90 inches tall with all the yellow guards in place, machine without the guards is only 69 inches tall. Actual press area is 24 inches wide x 18 inches deep, maximum daylight without the plates you see pictured is 14.125, with the plates it's 12 inches, plate thickness is 1.125, machine has a 6 inch stroke, post diameters are 2 inches, distance between posts is 18.5 inches wide x 12 inches deep. This should give you enough information to see if your die sets or pressing application will work in this machine. Machine works great, ram seal seeps a little but nothing major, easy enough to replace too if you have too. Machine is heavier than it looks, my guess around 4000 lbs, we can load for free if you want to pick up at here in or you can see what kind of rate you can get from freightquote.com, if you want to arrange carrier you use, either way we'll load it for free.
