Locking C-Clamp Welding Pliers 3 pc. Set Here’s a three-piece set of locking pliers that everyone who welds or works with metal can use. These pliers are of the locking type, with an adjusting knob at the rear of the handle to set the jaw opening and clamping force. The jaws are of a 'C' design, to allow you to clamp work while still maintaining enough room to get at the entire project. The set includes pliers of different sizes, from a 1-1/4 inch open capacity (1-1/2 inch throat) to 3-inch (2-3/4 inch throat) and all the way to a huge 10-inch (9-3/4 inch throat) open jaw size. Once adjusted and locked, the work is firmly held to allow sawing, drilling, welding or most other processes. The tips of the jaws are rounded to allow the pliers to be pivoted to one side or the other as needed, while still locked and holding your work. They'll reach around obstacles to clamp a spot on the other side, which would normally be inaccessible to a standard locking pliers.
