I have had numerous questions about what these units are, all of the research I have done described these as tranceivers, repeaters or duplexers, so that is how they were listed. I am by no means an expert in the feild of radio equipment, so by this to be a plain jane radio, if you get it and it duplexs repeats or tranceives feel free to send more money. But all you will receive is exactly what is pictured nothing else. Thanks Brad
