OZ. (1.77ML) / each tube x 12 * NET WT. 2 GRAMS / each tube x 12 * 1. The thinner the application, the stronger the bond. * 2. The quicker parts are positioned, the stronger the bond. * 3. roughening smooth surfaces with fine sandpaper followed by cleaning with acetone or nail polish remover will usually improve adhesion. * 4. The better the fit between surfaces, the better the bond. * 5. Instant adhesive is not suitable for bonding polypropylene, tetrafluoroethylene or polysulfone. * 1. Clean and dry surface to be bonded. * 3. Carefully pierce metal seal without squeezing tube. * 5. Squeeze tube from bottom. Apply one drop per square inch to one surface only. Don't use too much. Press parts together immediately and hold for 15 seconds or until set. * 6. Replace cap and store in cool, dry place. * DEVELOPS FULL STRENGTH IN 2 HOURS. WARNING: EYE IRRITANT. BONDS TO SKIN IN SECONDS. CONTAINS: CYANOACRYLATE ESTER. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. For eye contact flush with water. If eyelids are bonded, do not attempt to pull apart. For skin contact immerse skin surface in warm soapy water and then peel or roll adhesive from skin. Do not pull bonded skin surfaces apart. For eye, bonded skin surfaces and internal contact, seek immediate medical attention. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Phew, pretty scary warning note, but that shows you how strong this glue is. This part is frequently required for service/repair by FORD and other auto manufacturers for a various of purpose. I found articles for repair of door switches, buttons, upholstery, steering wheel covers, and I guess if you can use some gluing, you need this part. Some 2000 - 2003 " Multiple Vehicles " with leather wrapped steering wheels may exhibit a condition where the leather cover comes loose from the spoke area. if this occurs on the front of the spoke, repair maybe made without removing the steering wheel/airbag assembly. If this occurs on the rear, the steering wheel/airbag assembly must be removed for repair. To service: Fold up the loose leather. Apply Ford adhesive TA-19 or E8AZ-19554-A evenly over the spoke. Fold the leather back to its original position. Smooth the leather. Tuck it in and apply pressure until it has bonded wit the wheel. LIGHT TRUCK: 1998 WINDSTAR A loose fan control switch on the auxiliary climate control unit may occur on some vehicles. This may be due to the lack of adhesion on the switch to negate lateral force. Apply adhesive to the fan control switch. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details. 1. Move the 2nd row bench, or LH 2nd row bucket seat out of the way. 2. Remove 2nd row access panel attached to LH side trim panel. 3. Disconnect rear speaker connector (if equipped). 4. Locate rear fan switch and disconnect back light connector from switch housing. 5. Disconnect fan switch connector from switch housing. 6. Reinstall fan switch housing back into place on the access panel trim piece. 7. Apply a reasonable amount of Ford Instant Adhesive (E8AZ-19554-A, or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G402-A4) to retain switch to access panel. Make sure the product is recommended for plastic adhesion jobs (Figure 1). Figure 1 - Article 98-8-11 8. Allow adhesive enough time to cure (according to instructions on the adhesive package). 9. Reinstall the access panel trim piece by reversing the above Steps. Anyhow, this is a good grade, GEL formula super glue made by a good company, which is a good product. These when compared to normal super glue, is just so much more superior. If you ever bought some cheaper grade (as you can find them everywhere cheap in 3 or 6 pak), you will notice that they are quite watery and they run and pretty much make it very hard to work when repairing using those "super glue". This FORD part, however, meets tough FORD requirement, made by Loctite which is a manufacturer you can trust, and the GEL FORMULA makes it won't run or drip, and it's such a joy to use, and use and use as the cap design does not allow it to glue the cap to itself. You get a lot of use out of each tube compared to the cheap one that will glue it's own cap to the tube. When you use the cheaper ones, you use one drop, it runs everywhere, and it makes a mess. You cap it off, and next time when you want to use another drop, you find the cap glued to the tube and it's impossible to just open the cap, and you ended up twisting and breaking off the top in order to get some glue out. In doing so, you make a mess on your hands and desktop, countertop, and the thin liquid "super glue" you bought cheap just won't do the job and you get frustrated, and you wash your hands and you gave up. With this special FORD part, you will truly have total control over how much glue at which spot to do your little repair, here and there and now and then. Overall, you save time, you can use the glue the next time, and the next time, and so on, so on..... thus you are actually saving a lot of money (and aggregation) by using a better/superior product. I am talking from my own experience. I do my share of fixing things that my family, relatives, and friends break and from time to time, I use super glue, and I bought the cheap 3 pack/6 pack super glue before too, and that's why I searched, found, and bought these gel formula super glue as I know they work much much better.
