TP27D Heating Head (H)/Cooling Head (C) Temperature Range: Here are the specs for the TP27D: * Modular system contains system controller, heat exchanger, a hand-held wand with a thermal head and an adapter in the configuration of choice. The adapter attaches to the thermal head to configure it for testing a particular DUT. * Adapters are available in a wide array of configurations, to meet most test requirements. * Versatile: Test a wide variety of devices by changing the adapter on the head of the thermal wand. ThermoSpot isolates the DUT at precise temperature without affecting surrounding devices. * Flexible thermal wand for ease in characterizing suspect components on a crowded PCB or on the tester. * High accuracy, stability and repeatability * Simple operation at the front panel or via remote control. * Pre-set up to two frequently used temperatures. * Self- contained. Uses electrical power only; no compressed air is required * Narrowband, proportional DC Control Heat Unit - Unit powers up but I have no way to really test it. The needles on both gauges moved smoothly when I fiddled around and the knob/switch. The heating head heats up and seemed to get hotter/cooler when adjusted. I left it on a couple of days. The heat head is in good shape though scratched a bit on the casing but overall in good shape. Cooling Unit - Unit powers up but I have no way to test it. The needles on both gauges moved smoothly when I fiddled around and the hot/cold gauge moved after I left it on a while. The cold head is in good shape though scratched and the thick black hose is in good shape. The other small connector cable in the back is OK but the insulation is cracked on it (you can see it in the image about 2-3 inches from the plug. Physically units are in very good condition with a minimal of scratches. The front panels are very clean. This is the OUTSIDE. I have no idea what is up on the inside. We make no claim of functionality. Description is as accurate as we can be.
