ELMA VXI TYPE 12 Rackmount Enclosure The VXI System 12 enclosure is designed for rackmount applications and is available in configurations up to 13 slots.It easily accommodates C (6U x 340mm) and D (9U x 340mm) size boards. The Elma VXI System 12 houses the boards in a vertical orientation to enhance natural convection. This fully shielded enclosure is designed in compliance with UL, CSA, and other international standards. In addition to its very strong extrusions, the System 12 also features heavy duty sideplates with rugged wrap-a-round top and bottom cover plates for superior shielding and strength. The rugged Elma System 12 chassis provides protection from shock and vibration, high and low temperatures, sand and dust, power fluctuations, RFI/EMI, and other environmental hazards. These systems are also suitable for military, mobile, telecommunications, and industrial environments where shock and vibration standards are encountered.
