This drill bit has a tapered chock and would work in a Lathe or a Mill or a really Large Press. It is marked High Speed. The Tapered end (also called Tang on the end), allows to drive without the bit spinning inside of the collar. In researching the name Celfor, I found the company was purchased by Clark Equipment Company back in 1916. The type of steel they produce is called tungsten steel. The high speed drill bits has 3 times the worklife of past carbon steels. We have multiples of this item, so if you are interested in more, just let me know. This bit is HEAVY. 9 pounds.
