This is a replacement part for many differant brands of Generator. If your 10 to 12 kilowatt generator needs a complete new generating end, the chances are better than 50% that this is the part you need. Check your label carefully, and look to match the one shown here. The actual manufacturer of this genset is Mecc Alte Spa, an Italian company. They supply many differant name brands such as : Generac, Coleman, Devilbiss, and ??? For Coleman, the two main parts to this assembly is the Rotor and Stator. Part numbers 56624 and 56628 and the total list price for these two parts (many others are necessary to complete this assembly), are $1167.77. For Devilbiss the part number for this assembly is D21676 and the list price is $1,013.21. Unless you are very familiar with generators, I would not recommend that this be purchased for any use other than as a replacement...the wiring connections can be quite dauting unless you have an original piece to match the proper placement of wires. These are typically matched to 18 to 24 HP motors with a tapered generator shaft.
