CTC C1100 SmartStrap Cable Tester Kit The item you are looking at is a CTC C1100 SmartStrap Cable Tester Kit used to identify cable pairs without actually moving the tone generator from pair to pair. SmartStrap is a small battery-powered cable test and remote strapping device. It is designed to help a single technician identify, test and qualify multiple pairs via remote control. It controls up to 100 pairs. Commands are used through standard DTMF tones from a test or dial set and SmartStrap uses easy-to-understand voice responses in one of four languages for answering back. Select from 14 different tones and 3- and 10-tone sweeps for uncovering transmission problems. This kit comes equipped with the SmartStrap base unit, 2 four pair expansion modules with connection cords, ac adapter and car adapter, ground cord, and carrying/storage case. This set is in like new condition looks as though it's never been touched. List price for a brand new one is $1700+.
