AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH (ATS) (COMPATIBLE WITH RAMSOND DIESEL GENERATORS) 2007 Diesel Generator ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) ZTQ-5 is a new generation, state of the art, microprocessor controlled Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). When connected to any diesel generators (Range 5kw-30kw), the ZTQ-5 ATS can continuously monitor the municipal electrical current. At the instance of loss of power, the microprocessor controlled ATS system sends an electronic command to the generator's ignition system to start. The ATS will keep the generator running until such time that the municipal power is resumed, at which time it will send a command to the generator to shut off. ZTQ-5 ATS is easy to connect and affordable. It is a highly recommended option, especially when your Elite series is intended for use as a back-up generator. The ZTQ-5 can be connected via its 5 prong quick connection plug to any diesel generator (e.g. Ramsond Elite Series) equipped with the same plug. For those generators not equipped with with a quick-connect 5-prong plug, the ZTQ-5 can be hardwired with relative ease to the generator ignition. ZTQ-5 is compatible with most diesel generators, ranging from 5kw to 30kw.
