2.875 (2 7/8) Inch Steel Bearing Balls MADE IN USA! All bearing balls can be polished/buffed to a mirror shine equivalent to the surface finish on much more expensive (lower-numbered) grades, but we do not do this, as we assume that users want them factory-fresh to ensure accuracy, freedom from embedded polishing grit, etc. - if actually being used as bearings rather than just as a mirror or shiny object to look at. In the future, we hope to also offer polished/buffed balls with mirror finish, but will clearly label them as to original grade rather than the finer grade the mirror finish would imply.
