2007 Brand New Never been used 80 KW Generac Generator set, fully sealed from the weather, lowest possible noise reduction. fully self contained with fuel tank, computerized management system. Call for appointment (***)-632-0127. The average gas engine powering a generator will run for around 1000 hours before needing replacement or a complete overhaul. And that’s an average. Many don’t make it past a few hundred hours. The average diesel generator will run 20,000 hours before needing any service beyond routine maintenance, but many make it to 50,000 hours, and some a lot longer than that. At four hours a day, even 20,000 hours works out to nearly fourteen years! Diesel Generators are built to last. They’re built to produce their rated output for years on end. Most gas-engine generators are built specifically to be used for intermittent or emergency power. Almost all gas-engine generators run at a self-destructing speed of 3600 RPM. Most diesels run at half that speed. The fuel-efficiency alone is a good reason for a diesel generator, plus off-road diesel fuel is cheaper than gasoline. It’s also a lot safer to store. It’s flammable, but not explosive like gasoline. And although diesels sometimes produce more visible exhaust, it is less toxic than the emissions from a gasoline engine. A well-tuned diesel, by the way, produces no visible exhaust except briefly, under severe load-changes. Diesel Generators sound scary to some people who are unfamiliar with them, but they are actually simpler in design and construction than gas engines. If you can service a gas engine, you can service a diesel. And it requires less service. Fuel Tank Capacity: 100 Gallons Engine: 150 Hp 4 Cylinder In-Line by Perkins Fuel Consumption: at 25% load 2.1 gallons per hour / at 50% load 3.1 gallons per hour / at 75% load 4.5 gallons per hour / at 100% load 6.4 gallons per hour Sound Output at Full Load: 74 dB at 23 Ft Transfer switches sold separately - Transfer Switches are available in 225 Amp, 400 Amp, 600 Amp, 800 Amp and 1,000 Amp and 400 Amp configurations - please inquire with your requirements Enclosure Material: Marine Grade Aluminum. Door are hinged and removable with keyed alike doors Base: Mounted on steel sub-base with four vibration isolators, corner lifting eyes and opening for electrical stub-up. Operational single and dual wall fuel tanks for 12 and 24 hours operation Overall Dimensions: 110" L x 58" H x 40" W This generator does meet EPA smog regulations for California and meets and exceed all other states emmissions standards. Closed Recovery Cooling System This closed, pressurized system virtually eliminates the introduction of air into the cooling system. Rust and fluid acidity are minimized, resulting in longer engine life. Constant speed control provides faster response to block loads and a more consistent output frequency. All generators utilizing PowerManager® control systems feature an isochronous governor. Standard vibration isolators virtually eliminate transmission of vibration from the unit to the mounting surface. Generator functions are constantly monitored through a protective system that features solid state circuitry for reliability and long life. NFPA 110 required warnings and alarms provide alerts for a variety of safety and operational concerns. The system automatically shuts down in response to certain critical conditions such as high engine temperature, low coolant level, etc. All generators utilizing PowerManager® control systems meet NFPA 110 requirements for warnings, alarms and alerts. Advanced Wire Harness Design with Waterproof Connectors Our wire harness design assures reliable, repeatable interconnection between circuit components. Special sealed connectors protect against moisture, dust and environmental damage. Generac Manufactured Alternators Our revolving field alternators are fully-insulated and self-ventilating. They feature higher temperature Class H insulation, but are designed to operate at lower, Class F temperature levels for longer life. Oversized alternators are available on many models for additional motor starting capacity. Solid-State Sensing and Starting Control Provides the ultimate in engine protection. The magnetic pickup senses overspeed, automatically shuts down the engine, disconnects the starter motor and prevents re-engagement. The system also provides cyclic cranking for improved starting reliability and cranking termination for starter motor protection. Solid-State, Frequency Compensated Voltage Regulation (V/F) Provides fast, optimized response to changing load conditions. Maximum motor starting capability is assured by electronically torque-matching the surge loads to the engine. Permanent Magnet Excitation (PME) Provides sustained short circuit current for breaker coordination. Increases motor starting capabilities and enhances performance when load-induced harmonics are present. Standard on 150 kW (except QT and HQT models) and larger. Optional on smaller gensets. All service points are located at the perimeter of the frame for easy access. Our textured, powder coat paint process provides consistent coverage and better bonding to seams and exposed edges providing durability and a long-lasting, tough finish. All Generac standby generators are UL 2200 listed and our transfer switches are UL 1008 listed. UL listing verifies the kilowatt ratings of our generators and is your assurance that Generac standby systems meet the highest safety standards. Generac generators are made in the United States by Generac Power Systems Inc. We design and manufacture all of the major components including the alternators, controls and enclosures. This unprecedented degree of control ensures that Generac products are built to the highest standards for quality, reliability and durability.
