Made in USA premium quality Rivet-Mate two piece fasteners. STAS617AC grips materials from 7/8" up to 1 & 1/16" 3/16" diameter ALUMINUM semi-tubular MATE with Large 3/8" head diameter for extra bearing surface. The mating 1/8" diameter Rivet body is cold headed (formed) from solid aluminum wire, also with a Large 3/8" head diameter, and assembled with a special steel nail. Non-critical Application hole size 3/16" up to 1/4" hole diameter. Application components total thickness range = 0.875 up to 1.062 inches FOR A #617 SIZE Aluminum rivets are commonly utilized for fastening other aluminum components together, which avoids galvanic corrossion (when dissimilar metals contact each other).
