Precision Spindle for Internal Grinding. Manufactured by SLF, a well known high quality German spindle manufacturer. This is a high precision ball bearing spindle for use at speeds up to 17,000 RPM. It has an 80 mm OD and is 250 mm long. The spindle is belt driven and uses standard quills for mounting the grinding wheel. Included is one quill and a pulley both can be seen in the photograph. The spindle was purchased new for $8,500 and was used on a research project for a very short time. It is in excellent condition. (this posting is the responsibility of the poster) |
