This is a very nice 70000 series spectrum analyzer system with 2.9 GHz RF section. It gose from 100 Hz to 2.9 GHz frequency range, +30 dBm (1W) max. The 70206A System Graphics Display is a full width, stand-alone, menu-driven interface for the 70000 system. It presents measurement results and configuration information with high-resolution-graphic, trace, text, and marker capability. It includes a 9-inch CRT, data and control keys, and an analog control knob. It can be stacked or racked with the 70001A mainframe or located up to 30m or more away from the analyzer. The 70001A System Mainframe is a 8-slot mainframe for 70000 Modular Measurement System (MMS) plug-in modules. Built using 70000 Modular Measurement System (serial # 2802A01999. The HP/Agilent 70310A precision frequency reference, a 1-slot wide plug-in module for the HP 70001A mainframe, provides precision reference signals for use by HP 70000 systems and other instruments. System frequency accuracy is enhanced because the 10 MHz and 100 MHz reference signals provided by the HP 70310A are phase-locked to an internal ovenized oscillator, resulting in excellent stability over both time and temperature. With a highly accurate and stable reference in your system, you can find signals more quickly by tuning to very narrow spans. Option 002 deletes the ovenized oscillator and the accessory power pack from the HP 70310A, but retains the external reference input capability. This is a good low cost solution if you plan to connect a house standard or other external reference permanently to your HP 70000 modular spectrum analyzer (serial # 2736A00311). The unit comes with a HP/Agilent 70310-60016 powerpack on back. HP 70310-60016 has 40V Powerpack For HP 70000 Series. It works in-conjuction with the HP 70310A reference plug in module. See about specs on option 002 for the HP 70310A module. That is all I know about it (serial # 2549A00468). The 70902A IF Section adds signal processing elements for spectrum analyzers, lightwave signal analyzers and other systems. It has 10% incremental bandwidth steps and calibrated logging amplifiers. It has a frequency range of 10Hz to 300kHz (serial # 2818A01845). The 70900A Local Oscillator Module provides a swept LO signal of 3.0 to 6.6 GHz, processes video signals, and acts as master controller for the spectrum analyzer. It contains the system firmware to control and coordinate measurements and to output data. The calibrator is 300 MHz and -10 dBm. The 70900A has a minimum 32K bytes of memory for DLPs (serial # 2817A01948). The Agilent HP 70904A RF section contains an input attenuator and a mixer. It provides the 100 Hz to 2.9 GHz broadband input conversion. The HP 70904A RF mixer converts the incoming RF signals to the intermediate frequency (IF) for further processing. The broadband, low noise mixer offers the performance needed to make high dynamic range measurements. The input attenuator can be automatically coupled either to the reference level for mixer protection or to the highest mixer level to maximize dynamic range. The input attenuator varies from 0 to 70 dB in 10 dB steps. (serial # 2818A00990). This is the complete spectrum analyzer system with Plug ins, hook up cables, and it is ready to go.
