THIS ITEM IS USED AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER ON THE BACK DID ETCH HIS NAME IN THE CALIPER OTHERWISE IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE IT IS STAINLESS STEEL I WASHED OFF THE RUST SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BUT THAT IS ALL I DID AS FAR TRYING TO CLEAN IT UP DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE INSTRUMENTS MADE IN GERMANY HARDENED THROUGHOUT
