These PDF manuals cover the Tektronix MR501 Plugin for the TM500 series Power Modules. They are scanned from the original manufacturer's manual. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manual is available here. Two PDFs of the manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is: Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white Schematics at 600dpi black and white Text with photos at 600dpi grayscale with contrast adjusted Any schematics, board overlays w/color at 600dpi 256 colors Both resolutions are bookmarked, hyperlinked, and feature both the chapter-page and sequential page numbering systems. The fast "bench resolution" PDFs, which are designed primarily for research as opposed to printing, are also text-searchable. Foldout pages are supplied as A4 (8-1/2x11") pages for ease of printing. The pages can be printed as needed or the information taken directly from the computer screen. If any exist, technical notes made by engineering and technical personnel are retained in this document. The "very high" or "reproduction grade" resolution looks nice, but for many purposes uses excessive resources. Limiting yourself to that is kind of like riding to work every day on a tractor. You can copy the large file to the hard drive in an attempt to achieve maximum performance, but having that be a necessity is certainly of no benefit to you. Therefore, although it's great to have this resolution for those times you need higher definition (printing, mainly), we include a second scan in more normal resolutions for daily research and use on the bench. The second scan is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce useable quality, quickly navigable files that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed. On the CD you'll receive the large "very high resolution" or "reproduction quality" file, plus the smaller, faster and often more useable text-searchable version. ALL original manual pages are supplied. CD Mill "Maketers" loudly and proudly advertise page counts and file sizes, but since those counts and sizes are artificially inflated with advertising and/or blank pages, we refrain from joining them and instead assure you that these manuals are complete and are scanned in the specified resolutions.
