This Johnson Controls Temperature Controller is new in the box. However; it has been on a shelf for quite a few years. It is adjustable from 50 to 130 degrees F. It has a SPST switch that opens on temperature rise at the setpoint you select. This would be great for an area space heater that doesn't have it's on temperature controller. You would have to be capable of wiring it up though. This unit might be a collectable.I'm not sure but I think the number on the box, (997-79-4) is a date and production code. Based on other industrial experience I have and the appearance of this item, I would gather that it was production number 997 made during the month of April in 1979. If that's true, it almost 30 years old, new in the box. (this posting is the responsibility of the poster) |
