This plan builds a heavy duty, unique roller type brake. It is made to be free-standing on the floor. It employs a steel roller instead of the usual bending leaf. This feature extends the versatility of the machine greatly because the roller can be worked both downward and upward, providing exceptional latitude in project design. By using the proper forming block or mold, you can bend sheet metal to any nangle, make radius bends, reverse bends and seams. It's construction is rugged enough to permit bending 20-ga. sheet iron the full 18" width of the table. Included are several illustrated pages of how-to about forming complex bends.
