10 Ton Double Girder Top Running crane. The crane was manufactured by Morris Wheeler. The hoist and trolley assembly is manufactured by P&H. All motions are 2 speed and wired for 460/3/60. Our records show the speeds as the hoist @ 20/7 fpm, Trolley @ 75/25 and the bridge @ 100/33, the available lift is not known but the crane was running on a runway set at 18’-3†off the floor and serviced a truck well 42†deep. The span is 37’-5â€. The crane is a center driven structural steel fabrication with a full catwalk on one girder. The overall height from the top of the crane to the tread of the rail is 5’-2â€. There is a traveling push button station the full span of the crane. The hoist/trolley is serviced with flat cable festoon system.
