New 6" 6jaw self centering lathe chuck with 2-1/4"-8 backplate fits South Bend heavy 10" , Many Logan and other lathes. With the 2-1/4" back plate please note that you will have to enlarge the registration area to custom fit it to your machines spindle. You want this as close as possible so for this reason the registration ID on the backplates are made undersized. This is typical with any new threaded spindle chuck. Backplate is a heavy duty quality pc that is matched to the chuck with all holes drilled, etc. Only has the one set of jaws you see on the chuck.
